Much like the other Giant Fava we sell, only Purple when dried. Harvest in about bout 70-75 days. Can be planted in cold weather with full sun but not heat tolerant. This large, hardy, nutritious Favahas Mediterranean origins but is now used all over the world. If picked fresh, par boil a few minutes. We love these tasty broad beans parboiled, then cooled in the fridge with a little salt. 30 seeds.
